Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, and guinea pigs and have been around these animals for nearly 24 years. My mother worked with animals, and I have ample exposure because of that. I have been housesitting for 10 years, doing anything from daily check-ins, to walks, to full-time in-house pet sitting. I am equipped to give oral medications as well as distribute insulin (as I have a diabetic cat). I have 10+ references from previous clients.

Chase is wonderful! She took great care of my boy. Chase cared for him with compassion and affection because he has separation anxiety. She communicated very well and sent pictures, which I sincerely appreciate. It can be challenging to leave your loved pet for a week due to concerns about how they will be cared for. I am so thankful to Chase for giving me the confidence that my boy was being cared for and loved. Chase stayed at my house while I was gone, and I returned to find my house in perfect order, thanks to Chase. I highly recommend Chase and will be asking her to care for my boy in the future.

A typical day
I love to make the dogs feel as comfortable as possible. If they’re energetic, we can take a long walk around my neighborhood or play in the dog pen. If they’re relaxed, we can sit outside on my deck and sunbathe. I also have a few trails here in Black Diamond that I like to frequent with my dog. I’d be happy to take visitor dogs there, too!

Availability
My partner and I just moved to Washington after living in New York for a few years, because of this I am working remotely. My schedule is incredibly flexible because of this, but please be aware I have to go home to give my cat insulin in the evenings, which takes 1-2 hours. This is the only time constraint I have.
