Pet care experience
Similar to many, I have a love of pets that started when I was young with a dog and two cats, and has continued to this day. What gives me an advantage is 3+ years of experience as an Assistance Dog Trainer with Paws4people. Throughout my time with the organization I have hosted and trained 7 different dogs, for anywhere between 8-12 weeks, while also providing transportation and puppy sitting for other trainers. I have experience with basic puppy needs like potty training, crate training and basic command training as well as more advanced commands and the socialization of the dogs as they aged. I have a strong comfortability with all shapes and sizes of dogs that makes me a high-quality choice for your pet whether they are being boarded with me, I am house sitting or it is just a walk throughout the day. I have looked after the pets of close friends and neighbors in the past and that has given me a good knowledge of how to accommodate any pet and keep them comfortable.

Chase was AMAZING!!! He was very communicative and so accommodating! We happened to be out of town when the recent tornado hit Nashville and he was the first person we received a text from. He reassured us our pup was safe and sound and he sent updates as storm passed. Over the course of the week, Chase kept us posted by sending some of the best pictures of our guy! Chase is wonderful and we will definitely book him again for future trips! Thank you Chase!

I like to keep any pets I'm taking care of active mentally or physically, whatever they prefer! Depending on those energy levels I have specific walking routes that I will usually go on and am up for as much or as little activity as needed. Also finding those ways to mentally stimulate any pets so they can get energy out and rest when I leave.

I have no breed preferences, all breeds are welcome with me! I would like to know any details that the owner might feel are relevant. If they are not overly social, if they have problems with other dogs/breeds, if there are certain things that might spook/scare them as well as any other specific likes or dislikes that will help me to do my job at the best of my abilities.
A typical day
I am all for keeping dogs active with more than just walking outside for a few minutes until they go to the bathroom. I'm in a great location of Nashville where there are plenty of neighborhoods to walk through including my backyard which is fully fenced in. All activities will be based around the activity level of each dog!

With a little pup of my own, I've found a great balance between pet care and working my full time job. It keeps me very open and available throughout the mornings while giving me the opportunity to be flexible for any weekend stays!
