Have lived with a boxer, two retrievers, and a lab at different times. Absolutely love making friends with new dogs (they are the best listeners, if a little light on advice). I am quite patient (which helps when first getting used to a particular pup's preferences) and in good shape (in fact, keeping up with some dogs is basically exercise for the day). I am a person who enjoys company, but who sometimes also wants space from everybody. Dogs, and pets in general really, fill this gap quite nicely.
