Pet care experience
I am a lifelong pet owner and have experience with all kinds of animals - dogs, cats, goats, rabbits, horses, chickens, peacocks and cattle. I grew up raising cattle and chickens with my family and have since watched over small hobby farms for other local families when they are away. I worked at a pet boarding kennel during high school with all different breeds and sizes of dogs, and gained experience working with multiple animals at a time as well as specialized feeding regimens. I have also done house sitting for local families with senior pets or animals who require more frequent care and attention. I have very flexible hours and am willing to work with you and your pets to find an arrangement that works for all of us.

Charlotte has been a wonderful pet caregiver for our family! What makes her exemplary? She communicates with questions and updates, she has attention to detail with her care, and she treats my pet as her own which was evident by the cuddle pictures she sent and the update text messages. When we would return all was calm and well tended to. Charlotte stayed in our home and again, her respect of our space was just an extension of her respect in her standards of care and thoughtfulness in what she does. Your pet would have excellent care with Charlotte!
We've had a few different pet sitters for our farm and Charlotte was our favorite by far. She was very responsible and provided regular updates and photos. Most importantly, she treated it as more than a job-she made sure our pets were given ample love and affection. We have a slew of animals, including dogs, a cat, chickens, peacocks, horses, and goats, and she cared for them as if they were her own. We are very bummed she moved away. We highly recommend Charlotte!
Charlotte is simply the best! I think we have now had her take our pup Baloo for an afternoon break well over 10 times! She is reliable and thorough and gives Baloo extra love and attention in his 30 minute break from his crate on weekdays. She is a JMU Duke which is awesome in and of itself but is also just a generally good human and I 150% recommend her to love on your fur babies!

I currently do not offer pet boarding in my own home, however I have plenty of experience with pet sitting and house sitting. Before booking with a new client, I like to do a meet and greet with the pets and pet owners to familiarize myself with the existing routines and make sure I am the right fit to take care of your animals.

A typical day
I am an active person and understand the importance of maintaining your dog's regular exercise routines while you may be away. I like regular long walks (depending on your dog's needs) as well as playtime in or outside with toys provided by owners.

Currently I have a very flexible schedule and can adjust according to client's needs. I am willing to go further out of town for pet care provided it is a longer term, pet/house sitting situation.
