I am looking to host dogs at my house , primarily to allow for my dog to have more dogs to play with! He is a 3 year old Husky (recently neutered). He is pretty well socialized, but we recently moved across town from the dog park and it's hard to hit times when there are dogs there, especially in the winter. I can take dogs as early as 4 am and keep them as late as 8 pm, if needed. I am willing to board, but would prefer to get to know the dog first. I have a dog door and the dogs come in and out of my house as they please. We do have a fenced in yard, but it is old and we are replacing it this coming spring/summer, so if your dog likes to body check or jump on the fence, it may be problematic. Loki has never managed an escape, and he treated his 6 ft tall dog run as a puzzle box at my last house. Every day he would find a new way to get out and greet me by the time I got home from work! I work full time so this is a side interest for me and will only have availability on days I am not scheduled to work. Additionally, we have my husband's children at the house sometimes. They are all teenagers. Loki and I enjoy the occasional field trips to the dog park or mountains (hiking, snowshoe) but would let you know about that in advance and only bring your dog with your permission. We also live close to the bike path, so if your dog is good on the leash, Loki and I like to take occasional walks. Finally, with your request, I would happily send photos to you throughout the day etc.
