Experienced Guide Dog Trainer
I have had 8 years working with the Irish Guide Dogs ad well as 2 years with Dogs Trust. I was a trainer as well as worked in dog care and welfare so this included grooming, feeding, exercising and administering medications and 5 as a guide and assistance dog trainer where I had to assess and train up to 6. I have also worked with Veterans with Dogs where I trained veterans to train their own dog to be assistance dogs which involved regularly training sessions and walks. I have owned a collie Cross and labrador in the past from puppy age. (I am currently working from home in Hereford area if you need me to pop in or walk dogs at lunch.)I adore dogs and can assure you that your dog is in safe, experienced hands :)

I can look after dogs for short periods of time at home in the day but not overnight currently. I have a medium fenced garden. However I can do home stays if it is easier.

Charlotte came round to meet Daisy before the stay and asked all the right questions to ensure she could look after Daisy. Charlotte was warm and friendly and we knew she was a good match for Daisy. Charlotte looked after Daisy for 1 night.She stayed in our guest room. Charlotte sent photos of Daisy through the day keeping us informed on what she was up to with Daisy. She respected our home and kept the house tidy. We would 200% book Charlotte again!
This was Cody‘s second visit with Charlotte and he had a fabulous time! It was quite hot when she was watching him and she took extra care to make sure he stayed cool and didn’t over exert himself 🥰
Cody had a great time hanging out with Charlotte and we’ve already booked him in for another visit! Charlotte had great communication before the stay and sent regular updates while she was watching him. She was very accommodating to his old man requirements and I got lots of attention 🥰
I felt really comfortable and at ease with Charlotte staying in our home and looking after our dog, Zoe. She sent us regular updates and photographs, during our week away. Zoe seemed very contented and relaxed with Charlotte looking after her. We all got on really well. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Charlotte. She's brilliant.
Luna had a lovely stay with Charlotte. We received lots of photos and a video to let us know how she was getting on. When we picked her up she was tired as she’d had plenty of exercise. Charlotte is very kind and clearly loves dogs. We would definitely book again if we were staying in the area
During our recent trip to Hereford, Charlotte looked after our two miniature dachshunds — and what a truly wonderful experience it was. As any dachshund owner knows, they can be strong-willed little characters, and we were understandably a bit anxious about leaving them. However, from the moment we met Charlotte, her calm, confident, and genuinely warm nature instantly reassured us that they were in the best possible hands. We had planned a rare day out with our toddler to explore a nearby garden, and knowing the dogs were being so thoughtfully cared for made all the difference. Charlotte welcomed them as if they were her own, and we were touched by the regular photo updates showing them completely at ease, tail-wagging and clearly having a fantastic time. By the time we returned, it was obvious they’d had the most enriching, love-filled day with Charlotte and her lovely parents — relaxed, happy, and probably a little reluctant to leave! We are beyond grateful to them all for giving our little pups such a safe and joyful experience. Charlotte’s care was exceptional. Thank you so much — we wouldn’t hesitate to ask for your help again!

Schedule
I currently try work from home so I am able to do early morning walks, lunch time or evening walks as well as home boarding
