Pet care experience
I’ve been on Rover for the two years but I have been caring for pets full time since 2018. I currently work with rescue cats part time at a local rescue organization which includes administering a variety of medications including pills, liquids, inhalers, topical drugs, eye drops, intramuscular injections, subcutaneous injections, and using nebulizers. I have also completed Red Cross pet first aid training. I care exclusively for cats and I am currently only offering overnight care in the homes of clients.

Charolette really gets cats and cat families. We appreciated her attention to details when caring for our three cats while house sitting. I hope to use her again because I felt a great peace of mind knowing our cats were happy and cared for.
Charlotte is the perfect sitter! She came to meet Cloudy prior to the sit, and was so attentive to her IBD sensitivities and eye care. I felt so reassured that she was the one caring for Cloudy. Charlotte gave us update throughout the sit and took great care of our place as well! She’s a generous soul and I’m so grateful for her time and would gladly have her back for future sits!
Charlotte did a great job taking care of our house and cat while we were out of town, even dealing with some pretty terrible weather and extended power outage. We will definitely book with her again!
As always my kittens loved their time with Charlotte and I returned home to happy healthy kittens after holiday travel.

I always follow a client’s instructions as closely as possible. I am careful not to leave human food, medications, or choking hazards anywhere that can be accessed by cats. I don’t let cats outside and am careful when opening and closing doors. I will never bring a guest or another animal into a client’s home.

I always want to know how much/how often a cat eats, how often they poop + average consistency, if they have had any health issues, if they have any behavioral issues and what’s being done for them, if they need medication, and if they have any fears or dislikes I should be aware of. I also ask about treats, favorite toys, favorite hiding places, where a cat tends to sleep, what their schedule is typically like, and how often cat parents would like to be updated about their cat(s).
A typical day
In addition to regular feeding, cleaning, and care I enjoy providing interaction and enrichment whenever it’s welcomed by the cat. This can include treats, playtime, catnip, grooming, cuddles, licky mats, and puzzle feeders. I love letting cats have a catnip party in a cardboard box or paper bag. I’m also a big fan of blowing bubbles for cats to chase. I tend to spend a lot of time on the floor at cat level and I always follow a cat’s lead in regards to how much interaction they are comfortable with.

Availability
I work in office weekdays from 8:00am-5:00pm. Due to my work schedule I’m only able to accommodate cats who can be left alone for 8-9 hours.
