I have a breadth of experience caring for my former pets and my home, as well as house and pet sitting for friends and for paid jobs. I grew up on a farm and cared for goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, sheep, and poultry. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and organized personality. I now work 100% remotely, so I'm taking this time of my life to explore the U.S. and house/petsitting seems like a fitting and more community-based way to do so! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-3 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits.

I would 100% recommend Charlotte!She was the perfect Sitter! Great communication all the way through. Excellent, respectful care given to our pets and home. She seemed genuinely excited to meet the pets and get to know them, and I loved seeing that enthusiasm. When she came over to meet the pets the day before it was obvious that she would be a good fit. She was friendly and open and had a relaxing way with both of them. Right away we knew we could go enjoy our time away without worry. We had consistent check ins and photos from Charlotte. She left the house looking great and the pets happy. She really seemed to connect with Jackie – which warmed my heart because of course I know what a great dog she is, but she can also be a handful, especially with the cat in the mix! She was unfazed by any shenanigans our little maniacs may have gotten into. Suffice it to say I wish I had more than 5 stars to give Charlotte. Do not hesitate to trust her with your pets!
Charlotte did a fantastic job pet sitting for our mini ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She had a big responsibility caring for 10 animals. There were 2 horses, 2 donkeys, 4 cats and 2 dogs in her care. Everyone's food was a bit different, especially the cats, where there were special instructions for each one. Charlotte paid close attention to the details and even wrote up her own spreadsheet to keep the instructions clear. I can always tell when I get home if our animals were loved and well cared for by the look in their eyes. Charlotte is a star and I would have her pet sit any time we need help. She really stepped into farm life and handled all of her chores very nicely.
Charlotte was an exceptional housesitter and caretaker for my pets, farm animals, and many plants. Her dedication and meticulous nature were immediately evident, but her willingness to go the extra mile was a delightful surprise. Her commitment to detail and responsibility extended beyond pet care, as we returned to our home that was cleaner than we left it. Charlotte’s genuine affinity for animals and her reliability were incredibly valuable and exactly what we needed in a sitter. The updates and pictures of our cats and pups we received were very much appreciated and helped to reassure me that my home and animals were in good hands. Returning to a carefully maintained home was a testament to her competence and dedication and it was clear she treated my home, plants, and animals with the same respect and consideration she would her own. I wholeheartedly recommend Charlotte and will gladly welcome her back next time we travel, as she is someone who will not only care for your property and animals but will do so with unwavering dedication and a genuine heart.

I love taking dogs out for walks and playing with dogs and cats indoors and cuddling with them on the couch! I’ve found I definitely connect the most with animals that love to cuddle

I work remotely with an occasional need to go into the office, so it works best for me to care for pets in their home with a good internet connection. I have a fair bit of flexibility and can care for animals throughout my work day.
