Pet care experience
I’m a professional animal caregiver and artist w/30+ yrs of experience training and caring for small and large animals (from newborns to seniors): dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, frogs, birds, raccoons, snakes, lizards, turtles, sheep, cows… I lived on a farm growing up and I’ve had the opportunity to care for a variety of animals. I can provide training tips/tricks, therapeutic massage, first aid, and solutions for behavioral/emotional challenges. I am excellent with anxious animals. I form a unique connection with each one and they are always teaching me something new.

Charlotte was incredible!! I haven’t had the most amazing experiences on rover so far but desperately needed a sitter for the weekend so decided to give it another shot. She absolutely exceeded all of our expectations and more. She stayed at our house for the weekend with him and communicated with me multiple times a day/sent me videos and pictures often. I could tell my Jax loved her and had a blast. I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you, Charlotte!!! :)

Charlotte accepted a job to watch our dogs and completely forgot to show up. The day she was supposed to arrive she didn't respond to any text messages or calls (from us and Rover) which left our dogs stranded for over 10 hours and multiple accidents in the house. We had to scramble to find care at the last minute which was really stressful and ruined the first day our our vacation. Would you want to hire somebody like this to watch your pets? 0 Stars.

Whether we’re at my place or yours, when your pet is with me they are priority #1. I am always reachable by phone, and always send pictures and videos. I do not board animals from different families at the same time or leave your animals unattended. The street I live on is a mile long cul-de-sac that is great for walking dogs safely. The backyard is large and is also great for playing on a long zip line. I like to run and walk and your pet will get as much exercise as they want. :)

Any pertinent medical information, feeding and sleep schedule, treat allowance/food tolerance, favorite activities, any specific anxieties or behavioral challenges, and anything else you feel is important to keep your pet happy and maintain normalcy for them. Nothing is too small or insignificant.
A typical day
I like to get to know your pet first and then respond to what they want/need. I am up for anything...dog parks, car rides, walks, runs, toys, fetch, etc. I just like bonding with animals and each one is different. If they seem like a big ball of energy, we’re going to play and go outside. I use meditation music and massage for anxious moments, and pretty much live for the moments they want to cuddle and be loved on. We are going to have a good time and they’re going to be comfortable. :)

Availability
I make my own schedule, so if you board your pet with me I will be with them almost 24/7. If I’m staying at your place, you can let me know how/when you’d like for me to be there so I can maintain normalcy for your pets. I do require at an hour a day outside of your home to check in with my animals, or to attend to one of my regular dog walks on some days. Outside of that, I can be at your home 23 hours most days if needed.
