I began taking care of neighbors & friends animals when I was 11. At that age I had already had 4 animals who were a part of my family and a few animals we fostered. Our two poodles, Shadow and Thumper joined when I was 5, we were basically raised together.. they were the first creatures i loved unconditionally that weren't humans. They have both recently passed away at the ages of 17 and 18 from old age). Our golden doodle, Charlie, was a Christmas present when I was 8. We rescued Charlie from a horrible shelter that abused him (he was attacked at the dog park by another dog and passed away at the age of 6... the pain of losing him when he had so much life left to live won't ever fade but I am glad that the little time he spent on this earth was spent being a part of my family). Our mutt Chewy (Chewbacca) came along when I was 10... we adopted him one Sunday afternoon after a family breakfast, as we were on our way home we passed an animal adoption outside our local library, there he was sitting in a box labeled mutt, the old couple who had found him stranded on the road a few months earlier realized they didn't have the capacity to care for him correctly... enter my family, he was blind, extremely overweight and almost 100% deaf, he was also kind and gentle. Chewy passed away in his sleep at the age of 13. To say my family and I are animal lovers is an understatement, we have lost 4 of the most incredible and loving creatures we were lucky enough to have be a part of our family. Over the years we have also fostered bunnies, cats, kittens, deer, a cow, a rabbit and lambs. We currently have a Pitbull named Abe who is now over 7 years old, he just moved in with my sister. I see Abe and his fur sister Nala every two weeks. Hiring me means your fur family members will receive the care, affection and support they deserve and need while you are away.
