Pet care experience
We have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking looking after other people's pets. Look at our reviews to see how happy and content all your pets are with us. Myself and Maria have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. We have a Labrador called Ted who is 8, he is super chilled and great with other dogs and very well behaved. He is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles.

Amazing boarders. Super friendly and welcoming and kept us updated with lots of pictures on WhatsApp. Our dog Wilma didn’t want to leave! I could tell she was very at home there and made a big fuss of. Thank you so much for looking after her.
We cannot thank Charlotte, Maria and family enough for taking amazing care of our Archie. They loved on him like they do with Ted! The kids were amazing, playing and cuddling with him and Ted is a dream and shared all his toys. They really made it a home for Archie for his stay. This was the first time of us leaving our baby and we were put at ease from the moment met them. I would recommend them to anyone. They provided us with continuous updates and pictures. He loved his days with them and I think is wondering when he can stay again! We cannot thank you enough! <3
Morty and Teacake had a lovely break! Lots of walks and lots of cuddles. No anxiety at all. I would send them back to Charlotte and Maria in a heartbeat.

We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Ted sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, we would always keep the pets separate on a night so its not problem if your dog prefer to sleep upstairs.

Please let us know sleeping arrangements, how good your dogs recall is and if they are good on the lead so that we can plan their stay. It is important your pet is ok with other dogs.
A typical day
For local walks we would venture to Yeadon Tarn, Micklefield Park, Esholt Woods or Nunroyd park either way your dog will have lots of smells and fun. In the house Ted has his own toy box with lots of toys to share. On weekends we would venture a little further to the Chevin or Ilkley Moors, or do please let us know if your dog has a local favourite stomping gorund. So if you want your dog to have a home from home (and perhaps not want to return home!) check out our reviews to see all the dogs that have stayed with us so far. You can see for yourself how happy they all are and us! If you choose us to look after your dog he/she will get 5 star treatment, just like Ted does every day, with lots of love, attention and exercise.

Availability
Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Ted, so your dog will get plenty of exercise.
