Vet Tech Wants to Care for Your Pet
Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Charlotte, and I have an Associate's Degree in Applied Animal Science from UNH. I have personal, academic, and workplace experience with animal handling, nursing, behavior, grooming, and training. I have owned a menagerie of animals myself, including dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotics. I currently live in Salem with my 3 cats and have worked at an animal hospital for 4+ years. My experience includes caring for puppies, senior dogs, diabetic dogs, dogs and cats on fluid treatment schedules, and many pets on medication and/or strict diets. I feel confident that I can accommodate any of your pets' special needs. I would love to watch your furry family members and care for them with the same level of love I give to my own pets!
Reviews
Cody always has a fabulous time with Charlotte and we have the peace of mind knowing Cody's in great and capable hands.
Cody loves Charlotte. They have so much fun together and she treats him like a little brother. Always have great peace of mind when Charlotte stays with him.
Charlotte is awesome with our Schnoodle "Teddy" . She bonded quickly with him and has been very flexible with scheduling.
Everything was great. She is a wonderful person and you can tell she loves animals. Highly recommended.

Information Charlotte M. would like to know about your pet
The most important things I want to know about a dog before I watch him/her are in regards to interactions with other people and animals. I am never swayed by risk of aggression, leash pulling, or a strong prey drive, but it is important to be aware of any animal's habits and what their triggers and thresholds are. I do not and will never discriminate against any breed or size of dog. I'd also like to know about any medical needs (food allergies/restrictions, health conditions, etc.) or behavioral concerns (soiling in the house, jumping, resource guarding, chewing, etc).
A typical day
Any time I am not at work (36hrs Monday-Saturday) will be spent with your pet! If your home is close enough to downtown Salem or Marblehead, I can accommodate a bathroom break in the early afternoon as well. I mostly will walk your dog in or around your neighborhood unless you request otherwise, but if your dog likes the dog park and is current on a rabies vaccine, I am happy to take him or her there a few times a week as well!
