Pet care experience
I am a 3rd year veterinary medicine student with animal handling training in all species. Throughout my childhood I have cared for my own rabbits for over 7 years as well as dogs and cats. I have additionally gained lots of experience with dogs and cats through completing placements at rescues/ shelters and kennels, required for my studies. This has given me the opportunity to become confident meeting new animals and gaining their trust.

We are so very grateful that we have Charlotte to look after our cat and two dogs while we are away. Knowing that they are not only safe and looked after, but loved and cuddled means that we can go away, happy to leave them in her care. Charlotte is been a great dogsitter. She did look after Gemma very well. She kept sending pictures and update regarding our dog. Very kind, friendly and professional. I would recommend Charlotte very much as she did a brilliant job.
Charlotte was great with Benji and came to meet him several times before sitting as he was a recent rescue. He is deaf so she took extra time to learn the hand signals he needed for commands so she could form a proper bond with him. She sent lots of photos and updates over the weekend, and dealt with a tricky situation with another dog amazingly. Benji is looking forward to having her look after him in a few weeks time!
Charlotte was amazing with my dogs. So caring and conscientious. Will definitely be using her services again.

A typical day
I love creating both physical and mental enrichment. I enjoy walking and exploring new areas around me. I also love teaching new tricks! My go to games are a simple game of fetch to a more challenging enrichment frozen lick treat! Or sometimes simply putting the TV on a channel that your dog loves.

Availability
During term time, I go to university from 9-5. I can be flexible and I am free most evenings and most weekends. During holidays when I am not on placement, I have plenty of time to look after your pet while you are away.
