Pet care experience
I grew up on Dartmoor in Devon with 2 dogs and a cat and so have always been around animals! I now live in Bristol and love going back to my parents in Devon to spend time with their flat coated retriever and golden labrador but really miss them! I really miss having dogs myself and love going for walks daily. I am lucky to live by the Clifton Downs which is a beautiful space to have on my doorstep. All that's missing is a furry friend to keep me company! Having grown up with dogs, I am aware of the responsibility of looking after them and am happy to walk dogs both on and off their leads. Sadly, I can't have any dogs in my home due to owning a cat but am more than happy to visit your homes/walk them. I have spent countless occasions dog sitting over the last 10 years including walking, overnight stays, feeding & bathing. I have also recently done more puppy sitting for friends & continued to support their training. I am also a proud owner of two cats myself and so have plenty of experience looking after cats and am more than happy to do drop in visits to feed, empty litter trays and play with them.

Charlotte was absolutely amazing! She was very communicative and sent pictures to let us know how our babies were doing. Everything went so smoothly and it was the first time I let them alone. I defo recommend her to everyone and will book her again when I need to. Me and my fiancé were able to enjoy ou hen do and stag do with peace of mind. 🥰
Charlotte has looked after my golden retriever often since she was only around 12 weeks old. She has always kept me well updated with little pictures to make me feel so content that she is being well looked after and loved. She has always made me feel that any instructions I have given are well listened to and are no hassle at all. Especially through the important stages of training and being in set routines. She has looked after her in our own home and her own home also and both have been such a great experience. I always will use Charlotte for when we go away as she is everything we look for in a dog sitter especially her communication. I can see everytime we take our dog they have built up a good relationship and she is so excited to see her! Which is always so reassuring!
Charlotte is a very nice , reliable and attentive person. Couldn’t have found someone better to mind Luna!

I am aware every dog & owner is unique & will always learn correct commands for each dog. When pet sitting I have let myself into people’s homes & been sure to lock up correctly & that pets are left with water bowls & confined to specific rooms or crates if needed

Please do let me know if your pets have any special preferences to be aware of. I am happy to walk dogs on or off leads depending on what is suitable. I have no preferences on breeds but would like to be informed if they have any behavioural issues/ things that may agitate them. Additionally, if they have any allergies please
A typical day
I know the importance of stimulating pets both physically and mentally. On a dog walk I will play with them and take them to different environments to explore new smells. I love going on long walks and try to do a new walk once a week to somewhere I haven't been. If visiting cats or dogs in their own home for drop in visits I again will find any toys they may like to try and play with them, give them lots of cuddles and affection if they like that and obviously ensure their environment is safe and suitable whilst they are left on their own.

Availability
I’m currently working full time but compress my hours to have Wednesday afternoons off. Therefore, I am always free from 12.30pm on a Wednesday. Otherwise, during the week I finish at 5.30pm and am happy to walk dogs after this time. Additionally, my job is very flexible with hybrid working allowing me to do any drop in visits during the working day and lunchtime dog walks on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. I also have lots of weekends free to walk at any time of day and carry out any drop in visits.
