Clinical psychotherapist who LOVES animals, outdoors, and movement! I've got decades of experience as a ranch manager for ALL kinds of animals as well as having vet tech experience w large animals for a couple years. I'm a National Board Certified Teacher to boot! I get behavior and connection, wagging tails of joytime, and how to give space and join in and be a part of the pack. I've rescued two cats (one w 3 legs) and raised them from kittens. I own a horse who is 28 years old (yep - that's old). I raised him from a little colt. I grew up with a stunning yellow lab and have just been hooked on dogs, cats, animals since before I could walk. I'm super focused on how owners want the walk to go and can adjust accordingly. Charlotte was our first stay with Rover.com. We both had some depredation about the whole rover thing and searched through and met with potential sitters. Charlotte was amazing. We set up a neutral meeting and introduced Art and ourselves. From the moment we met Charlotte we knew she was our sitter for our boy. Charlotte was very attentive to everything we needed for Art. She sent out a stream of photos of Arts’ adventure with Charlotte. It looked like Art was at a doggie day camp where both he and Charlotte were best of friends and having the time of their lives. Charlotte is very personable and caring and we were fortunate to have found her to take care of our boy. I think they both became best of friends. We definitely would use Charlotte again.
July 1, 2019 To Whom It May Concern, I have known Charlotte Haefner personally for over fifteen years. There are a few things that stand out when I think of Charlotte. She is caring, loving, and has integrity. Charlotte loves animals, and always has! She has had her own horse for 28 years, feeding him, brushing him, riding him, loving him, taking care of him every single day for almost thirty years. She has poured love on my two cats, and would come over just to hold them. She loves all dogs, and will readily pet them if she can. She delights in the joy that animals bring to our world. When Charlotte sets her mind to a goal and commits to something, she accomplishes it and sees it through. This is evidenced by the career and personal goals she has achieved for as long as I’ve known her, getting a third degree, buying a house, moving to Portland, for example. She does things with intention and commits all that is needed. I would highly recommend Charlotte for the job of dog walker. You would be lucky to have her in your network! Thank you. Charlotte is truly the sweetest, kindest soul, and my rather antisocial cat comes running when she hears her voice. Cat gives me that look when Charlotte is around...the look that says “would you just go on vacation? I want Charlotte Care.” Feeding, watering, scooping the poop is basic care. Charlotte goes above and beyond and brushes her, snuggles her, brings her treats, and loves her up. I know mama kitty is in the best hands when I’m out of town.
