Pet care experience
We have often looked after friends and families dogs for long periods whilst they’ve been away, and have our own two small dogs who are very friendly. We love dogs, enjoy being active and playing with them and have had our dogs since puppies. We are happy to help with dog walking, day care, drop ins for all pets, or boarding at our home following a meet and greet to ensure that our dogs will feel comfortable together. We will look after your dog like our own 😊

Our dog Dee Dee had a lovely stay with Charlotte and Chris and their two dogs. They sent us lots of updates on how she was doing it through the day, with plenty of cute photos! Dee Dee seemed really happy and relaxed after her stay and I would happily book her in with Charlotte and Chris again.
Charlotte and Chris always look after Camus so so well. He also loves his visits and stays with them and their lovely dogs! Highly recommended Rover citizens 👌 👍 👏

We would like to do a meet and greet prior to accepting bookings to ensure our dogs can meet each other and this is a great opportunity for us to ask questions, but of course will need to ensure prior to booking that they are happy with other dogs. For drop ins and caring for other animals in your home this would not be needed. It will be helpful for us to know when your dog has their meals, and how often and what they eat, how long and often they go for a walk each day and if there is anything they are scared of or anything that is special to them so we can make sure we provide the care they need.
A typical day
We have an enclosed garden that dogs can explore and can go for plenty of walks in the local neighbourhood. We have lots of toys and live near a big park for exploring. We have space so that your dog can have some time on their own when they need to, as well as plenty of company

Availability
Chris works from home full time and I do some of the time, so there is always someone around with your furry friend. I have an enhanced DBS check for my work. The dogs get plenty of walks/toilet breaks throughout the day with a longer walk in the morning and the evening. Our dogs are very playful in the evenings and love other dogs, however if we are having dogs in our home we will usually ask for a trial day after an initial meet and greet to ensure they are all able to be comfortable and relax in our home, and will sometimes be unable to accommodate dogs if this is not the case (not common but something to be aware of!)
