I love all of the critters I care for like my own with decades of pet care experience under my belt! Graduating with my bachelors degree in social work in 2019, I’ve spent my career providing support to homeless individuals (and their pets!) I have recent experience working at a well respected humane society providing direct care to the animals in shelter. At the same humane society I volunteered as a foster parent for some particularly challenging medical cases and still pick up walking shifts when I’m back in Wisconsin. I have experience and am comfortable working with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes! During my time at the humane society I walked hundreds of unique and special dogs and puppies and cared for hundreds of cats and kittens so you can be assured I will provide exceptional care for your fur baby! Providing regular updates and fun photos to my pet parents is one of my favorite parts of the job! You will always be in the know when your fur baby is in my care.

Charlotte is the dog sitter of your dreams! This was my first time using Rover, and allowing someone to stay in my home, and once I met her all my worries went away. She sent pictures and updates during my time away. She took the pup on walks all over town, she played and cuddled with the dog at home. Charlotte was fantastic from beginning to end. From coming over to meet Mae ahead of time, sending us regular updates and pics, to leaving our home immaculate. The pics she sent were heartwarming as Charlotte and Mae were on all kinds of adventures outside and snuggling in. She even left treats for us upon our return. We have had other dog sitters in the past, but Charlotte is the gold standard. It’s not a job, it’s a passion for Charlotte. And that passion completely eliminated any anxiety we had leaving our special family member home.
Charlotte was WONDERFUL with our pup! She took excellent care of her and was a great communicator.

A typical day
Let me make your pet’s day! Every walk will be based on the needs of the individual dog and their owner. I have had a lot of animal behavior training from my time working at the humane society and understand how to read body language of cats and dogs. If you can’t be there 24/7 for your fur baby - I can be the next best thing! I love to send fun pictures and regular updates of the time spent with the animals in my care.

Availability
After moving from Milwaukee to the Twin Cities this summer for my husband’s job, I decided to put my full focus into animal care.. which means I have a ton of flexibility and freedom when scheduling! I accept last minute bookings in a pinch!
