Pet care experience
I have personal experience caring for my own dogs and cats since I was 9 years old, and have informally petsit and dogwalked for friends and family over the years. I volunteered for several years at an MSPCA shelter where I cared for, fed, and walked dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have been caring for pets through Rover since June 2022, and I absolutely love it!

Charlotte was a wonderful cat sitter! My Lucy is a shy, previously feral young cat, and within a few days, due to Charlotte's kindness, let her get close enough to eat treats from her hand. Charlotte's communication is excellent, she wrote notes on Lucy's progress and sent photos from every visit. I felt I knew how Lucy was doing at all times, and this gave great comfort while I was away. I would definitely request Charlotte again and highly recommend her to others.
Charlotte spent the day with my 2 older pups. She fed them, took them for walks, provided lots of attention, and gave them meds. It can be a challenge leaving these guys all day so knowing they were happy and in good hands was much appreciated.
Charlotte took great care of our 2 pups! We have 2 elderly pups and one with some medical issues so we needed someone to stay with them throughout the day while I was at work and my husband was out of town. Charlotte sent regular updates and fun photos showing me they were doing well. When I got home the pups were happy and glad to have been able to stay in their own house. It was great to know the pups were cared for and happy! I would definetly reccomend Charlotte and will be requesting her help in the future!

I am happy to take your dogs on long walks or short strolls, can bring your pup to a dog park for some play time, or just relax and snuggle on the couch depending on their moods and needs. I have a special affinity for cats given having my own little kitty, so I am familiar and comfortable with the wide variety of cat personalities ranging from purr-machine/snuggle-monster to will-only-let-me-catch-a-glimpse-of-flashing-eyes-from-the-top-back-corner-of-your-closet.

I appreciate detailed instructions about your cat or dog's care needs, including feeding and walk schedules and any important behavioral information. It is also helpful to know how you would like to provide access to your home--I am fine with using a lockbox or coming to pick up the keys from you prior to the booking. If your request is for house-sitting, please include any information on parking availability in your area.
A typical day
I love to lounge, stroll, run, play, or snuggle with your pets--whatever makes them happy, I am there to please! If your pet has a favorite toy, activity, or walking route, please let me know!

Availability
I just graduated with a masters degree in social work and will be taking the summer off before looking for a full-time gig! So, during these summer months I have plenty of free time to help care for your babies. Both weekdays and weekends work for me, but I do have some other part-time work, so I would prefer as much notice as you can provide.
