Friendly pet loving family

Pet care experience

Both my husband, Ben, and I have had cats and dogs all of our lives when growing up and as part of our adult lives. Currently we have none of our own animals and thought this would be a wonderful way to incorporate pets into our family life and let our children experience having pets at home. We have three children, age 5 and under. We live near fields with wonderful opportunities for walking dogs and with one of us being at home every day, it would be nice to have the extra company and also for you to know your pet won’t be left alone for long periods.

Charlotte and her family provided exceptional dog boarding. We were entirely confident that our dog was safe and well cared for. Highly recommended.

Charlotte and Ben did a fantastic job of looking after our dog with the help of their lovely 3 children. They treated her like one of the family and we had lots of updates and photos to keep us in the loop of her activities during her stay. We will be back thank you. ?

Charlotte and her family took such good care of our dog whilst we were away, we think he was a little bit sad to come home! We got updates every day with photos of him having a lovely time, so we never worried how he was. They really looked after him as if he was their own dog, you couldn't ask for more. Thank you, Rufus will be back for another holiday soon!

A typical day

If your dog came to stay with us, they would very much be part of family life. We often go for walks to the Bearsted Woodland Trust or Mote Park in Maidstone as well as around the streets and other parks in the area. We also spend a lot of time outdoors in the garden where we can play games with your dog. The children love playing with the dogs that come to stay, playing fetch and incorporating them into their playtime.

We both are lucky enough to work on a hybrid basis and on the days one of us is in our office, the other is at home. We do have to do school runs during week days but are only out of the house for around half an hour at these times. Weekends we spend mostly at home in our large garden or walking in the local area so a dog would be the perfect addition to our lifestyle.
