I'm Charlie. I've worked for the Humane Society for three years in the animal transporter position. The position entails a mix of knowledge from transporting animals across state lines, veterinary medicine, animal care, and building operations. I have also fostered kittens, cats (of all ages) and a variety of dogs (especially those shy - scared). I have two dogs that are kennel trained and currently fostering a FELV cat. Your pets will be separated from the crew (depending on your discretion). I am home all day Friday-Saturday. I am available Sun-Sat for doggy daycare (partial unsupervised) while I am away at work and let the dogs out at lunchtime (I live less than 10 minutes from work). Have wire/non-wire crates for your dog if they need space (or cannot sleep on the bed / while I am away). Several dog beds, a comfy human bed, and a couch for furniture. Plus a variety of toys (please bring your own if your dog has a preference or destroys toys). All food is kept in cabinets. Yard is chain-link fenced to five feet high with a green-privacy fabric. Have a large oak tree - perfect for squirrel hunting and a garden. Less than 10 miles of nearest veterinary hospital. Dogs must have current and valid Distemper / Parvo, Bordatella, and Rabies. Discount if they are microchipped and registered with their relative city.

I am Charlie's uncle and have used him (and his time) to babysit one of my cats and several of my dogs (Burmese Mountain Dog and Shepherd-Mix) at my property outside of Mora. Whether it was daily swim visits to the nearby river or river-rescues when my senior dog Lassie couldn't prop herself up the river bank - I trust Charlie in the hands of any dog or cat.
Sage has been a weekly visitor to Charlie's house. I have known Charlie for about two years while working alongside him at the Animal Humane Society. When I first started with Charlie, he sent (as requested) almost hourly photos of my 6 month old pup - whether it was walks around Theo Parkway or chasing the soccer ball around the yard. Whenever the dogs are brought outside, Charlie is right with them - no matter the weather. Highly recommend this fella to take care of your dog (or cat).
