Pet care experience
Hello my name is Charlie I formerly fostered Pit-Bulls for a rescue when I lived in Phoenix and worked many adoption events. I have lots of experience with dogs big and small. Very familiar with handling shy/skiddish pups that need lots of patience. All around dog lover I live in a cozy house in Northgate with two fenced yards, and my dog Lucy loves company. There are lots of parks and urban trails nearby that are dog friendly and I thoroughly enjoy jogging or playing catch with those tireless dogs we all love. I'm also familiar with handling/feeding cats, rodents, snakes and reptiles, birds, and fish if you have any of those that need attention in addition to your dog
Reviews
Charlie went out of the way to meet the dogs and me before my trip. Charlie was accommodating to meet the needs of my pups. He was able to make me feel comfortable leaving my dogs in his care. When I returned home my dogs didn't seem to miss me nearly as much as they should have and I blame Charlie :P Hoping he'll be available next time I need a sitter.

Safety, trust & environment
I think getting familiar with a dog beforehand is great when possible. I like to match the dogs energy, especiallyin their own home: some are unsure about having a new person in ther space, some love having a new friend to show all their toys

Knowing a dogs history and possible triggers is important. I also find leaning into a dogs schedule when they are in a new space or with a different caretaker can help them adjust
