Pet care experience
I've had a range of pets throughout the years and honestly feel more akin to them than most people. I believe all animals deserve our love and respect. With that being said, I've spent the last 4 years employed at The Good Dog Foundation, a non-profit organization that trains dogs and their handlers to become certified therapy dog teams to partner facilities in the greater New York area. I hope to bring that same focus on the human/animal connection into my personal work.

I am sorry for posting this late review, but Charlie L was awesome when she looked after our 15 month old Shih Tzu for Thanksgiving Holiday. From when I spoke to her she had a calming manner and gave her experience in looking after dogs of all sizes. She took great care of Rocket and the pictures she shared showed what a great time Rocket had! I was kind of concerned he wouldn't want to come back home with us :-) I would definitely call Charlie for availability next time we are heading out of town and hope she'll be available. Thanks so much Charlie.

Charlie was an amazing dog sitter. She was able to accommodate our needs on short notice and took care to gather all the info she’d need to make our dog’s experience comfortable and fun. She responded quickly to my texts and provided pics of their day. She planned an active day for him with walks and a hike. I’d highly recommend Charlie’s services and will utilize her services again when we visit SD again!

For boarding have a fenced yard and a spare room where I can easily crate and home any furry friends. I am also available prior to any boarding or care options for a "Get to Know You" session where we can detail any specific needs and concerns; your comfortability and that of your fur baby is always priority.

A typical day
I'm extremely active and there's tons to do and sniff out in my neighborhood so every day has potential to be an adventure. As long as we're SAFE, we're having FUN!

Pet care is a full time, lifestyle for me. I'm currently working part-time from home and I'm available for boarding on weekends and some extended weekends in special cases! ;)
