I have been working with dogs professionally for four years, starting as a dog handler at a doggie daycare, then moving on to teach group classes for puppy training, basic obedience, and agility at a dog training facility, then specializing in puppy socialization at a local puppy dayschool! I value the comfort and wellbeing of any creature I work with, both physical and emotional, which is why I abide by force free/fear free methods. I am well versed in dog body language, have a good understanding of the principles of dog behavior and positive reinforcement based training, as well as early puppyhood development. I'm not just a dog person though - ever since I was a kid, I always had cats! In addition to having my own pet cats, I fostered pregnant mama cats and their kittens.
