An animal lover living away from his own pets.

Pet care experience

My whole life, I have been in the company of cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. From a young age I have learnt that our pets respond best when being treated as not far different from human beings- the right amount of exercise, attention, food and rest. I am just as happy in the company of animals as I am with humans for this exact reason! I enjoy long walks, and have a full (clean!) UK driving license should you want me to drive to your dog’s favourite place. Whether your pet stays at my house or I stay at yours, week nights will see us both go to bed at a reasonable time. A day visit or check in will see one or more changes of environment for the both of us, some talking and some petting, along with whatever else your dog requires. I’m currently juggling a number of different part time jobs which all allow me to work from home. Your pet can chill with me at home during this time and we can go out for some fresh air from time to time. I will stay in the pets company the whole time, letting them out for loo breaks whenever needed. A mixture of walking and chilling together.

Charlie was great with Rose! We can always tell by her anxiety level when we pick her up whether she's 'enjoyed' her stay with a petsitter. She was relaxed and happy to see us, we give Charlie 5 stars and look forward to booking with him again in the future!

I would wholeheartedly endorse Charlie for the responsibility of caring for other people’s dogs, whether it be in their home or his. We have had dogs all his life and Charlie has always played his part in caring for them, including feeding, waking, administering medicine or amusing them. He was also very involved when one of our labs had seven puppies. He has been responsible for the dogs when we have travelled abroad. Charlie genuinely loves dogs, (not just ours), actively enjoys their company, and they have always sought out his. On a personal level, Charlie is very personable, level-headed and trustworthy.

Charlie has a natural afinaty with animals, a feline fanatic and canine crazy. Charlie is trustworthy and loving, your animals will be in extremely safe and capable hands.

I’m Charlie’s dad so I’m not the most objective person when it comes to writing about him, but I know him pretty well and I’m pleased with my work. Charlie and his sisters have grown up in the countryside, surrounded by dogs. We’ve always had at least one dog, and latterly, four: a Labrador, a Shih Tsu, a Jack Russell and latterly, a Shih Tsu/Jack Russell cross. Our family loves dogs and walking them, playing with them, talking to them, is part and parcel of our daily life. If you want your dog to have a minder who not only walks and feeds them but is also interested in them and cares about what they are feeling, look no further than Charlie. Cheers, Peter (Charlie’s Dad)

No breed preferences. Before sitting for a dog I would like to know their name, age, breed and if they have any particularly sensitive places that they don’t like having touched.

A typical day

Visit local London parks, Ravenscourt Park in particular, for walks and chilling outside. We can play fetch or football too. If allowed I can give him a snack or two.
