I am a work from home dog mom to a wonderful 6 year old Australian Shepard mix. Working from home allows me the flexibility to take my girl on walks during my lunch break, check in on my friends two doggies while she works long nurse shifts, and puppy sit for my friends parents while they had to go out of town. I’ve stayed for a week at my cousins house to watch his two senior dogs, I housed my moms 18 year old chihuahua for a month, and stayed a weekend at my aunts to watch her three pugs. I started to realize that since I can work from anywhere I’m able to help other families who might work long hours or feel anxious about boarding their dogs at a facility like my mom did. I’m home all day so potty breaks are no problem and going for walks gives me an excuse to leave my desk for a bit. It’s a win win win.
