Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life. I spent the last three years in nyc volunteering at a rescue called BARC that allows you to walk dogs waiting to be fostered and homed. I also fostered from another called In Our Hands Rescue. I ended up having one fail spectacularly, his name is Buckshot, he is mostly pit and a little boxer. I am very comfortable and confident with larger breeds. I have a good bit of free time and would love to spend it taking your pooch for a walk around the neighborhood. I am also capable of handling cats. I have been for living in Nashville for a few months now and miss all the interactions I had on a daily basis with my old friends in Brooklyn.

Great attention to my dogs, took them on many walks and kept me updated with photos etc. Will be looking to use Charles again on my next weekend get-a-way this summer.
Our dog is quite anxious and can have a hard time warming up to new walkers. Charles was very calm and patient with Bemmy from the start, and this helped Bem feel comfortable enough to head out for a nice stroll around the neighborhood. Charles was great with Bem, and we would recommend Charles to others who need a walker or dog sitter!
The day Charles set foot inside our home for an interview, we immediately felt a great connection with him and knew it would be a good fit. Charles has a friendly, warm, positive enthusiasm that radiates from him. During our 3 day trip, Charles sent us photos and text updates about their walking adventures and it really kept us feeling comfortable while away from Dougan. When we stepped foot back into our home from the trip, we were delightfully pleased to see how clean the house was. The counters were spotless, the floors appeared to be swept, dishes were not piled in the sink, our mail was even placed into neat piles next to the instructions we left him. While the house was in great condition, Dougan seemed very happy, content and not too overly excited to see us (good thing). We could tell that he received plenty of exercise and attention from Charles. We would highly recommend Charles to take care of your furry pals. He is warm, genuine and is amazing at keeping you updated.
Charles is a person who loves animals more than anyone I know. He takes amazing care of his dog, Buckshot, who is truly his best friend and confidant. He is responsible, on time, thoughtful, and always puts the pet’s need first. He also loves meeting new pets and is always excited to meet new dogs at the park or out walking around. He treats every dog he meets like a new friend - and the dogs love him back!
