I have had dogs my entire life. Big, medium, and small dogs. Lazy and energetic dogs. Furry and feisty dogs, too. They have always been an essential part of our family. I am a history teacher during the school term, and spend my summers gardening and hiking with my energetic 6-year old fell terrier - TrollieJo. Opening my schedule to spend more time with other dogs is the perfect way to spend these summers. I am available many weekends and during many extended vacations as well. I live in the Hollywood Hills, near many winding, hilly canyon roads. My dog and I go running through those roads, to the various parks in our neighborhood. We hike the canyons and tire ourselves out. Beyond this, I am an easy-going, ultra-caring, mindful guy that thinks that spending time with dogs is a therapeutic experience.
