As an owner of both dogs and cats since childhood, I have a lot of experience with them. My most recent dog was a Jack Russell terrier mix and a rescue dog that lived for 18 years until she passed last year. I love dogs and actually all kind of animals. I treat animals with love, they really are family members. As recently as last week I was caring for a neighbor's two dachshunds and prior to that a Highland Terrier. I always make sure to stick to the pet's schedule and routine when it comes to their diet and their walks. Just as importantly, I make sure I give them attention, whether that means playing with them or just giving them a belly rub.
