Pet care experience
I've been a German Shepherd Dog owner for 16 years, and before coming to Boston, I was a k9 search and rescue unit in upstate New York. I love dogs, big and small... and although Captain (my buddy in the profile picture) is big, he is a lap dog, snuggler, and complete softy. He loves little dogs (as you can see if you search my other photos). Remy is my ambassador (he's the little lab mix). He is the one that is with me most of the time in Roslindale and is the perfect playmate for any dog... very gentle, and always happy. I am a finishing graduate student looking to earn a small income on the side while I finish my thesis this spring. My wife, who you see in many of the pictures is also dog crazy... and will hang out during a lot of my dog walks and definitely during any dog sitting at our place. My 11month GSD warmed up really fast to Charles. You can instantly see his passion and commitment for dogs. I know they will become the best of friends in no time.

Charlie is great with dogs and is trustworthy, honest, punctual and responsible. He has lots of experience with dogs and I had him dogsit my own pup for 2 weeks once and wouldn't hesistate to hire him again.

I have no breed preference. All dogs are welcome, from the largest of the large to the little guys. Before walking or dog-sitting your pup, I'll need to know what their preferences and/or needs are... Old and grumpy? Like to walk solo? or Playful and extroverted? Obsessive retriever? Jogger? This will help me match walking mates, routes, and pace. If your dog has a green tag, we can go to any of the off-leash parks in Brookline.
A typical day
Our apartment is located next to Harvard's Arnold Arboretum! This is where we, and many others, walk our dogs. Plenty of space, fun pups to meet, and neat things to smell!
