Hello! My name is Charlene and I am a willing and capable professional ready to take care of your pet care needs! I am available for walks, in home care/play visits. If you do have other pets in the home such as cats that won't be a problem. I love all pets! Previously in the medical field, I decided to take a break from the hectic healthcare life and focus on something I truly enjoy, animals. I have had any pets(both mine and family) and while I may not have professional experience in pet care I would love the opportunity to take care of your pet's needs and provide the security that your 4 legged friends are well taken care of. I have no preference on breed or size. If they are more shy towards strangers I definitely would like some time with the pet and owner together prior to any care so they can get used to me and feel comfortable with me. It would be helpful to know if they are friendly with other animals, if they are used to being in public spaces with people/other animals. Most of these seem common sense but it cant hurt to mention!
A typical day
I love to go on walks/dog friendly trails. I would steer away from dog parks because of the lack of control over a situation if one were to arise but I love walking at Fort Monroe, Newport News park, simple walks through your neighborhood are fine, and of course wherever you would like/feel safe with. If you prefer playing in your backyard that's great too!
