In addition to having three dogs of my own, I have also spent a great deal of time working with animals from birds to goats to bunnies and horses. I currently volunteer with horses and children with developmental challenges. Animals and children are my favorite part of life. My best assets are my observational skills and awareness of the needs of living things that can't vocalize them. My very first job was working for a veterinarian/kennel. My degree is in psychology and I am working toward a career change to nursing. I love high energy dogs with a great deal of intelligence like Collies, cattle dogs and shepherds. My philosophy is to engage dogs in a meaningful way while respecting their specific needs on both breed and individual level.
