Pet care experience
Ive had years of experience with animals of all sorts and have been pet sitting for years. I grew up showing pigs and cows in the county fair, always grew up with cats and dogs so I can handle the personality of any animal. I currently have 3 dogs and two cats who are all very well trained, my pit bull used to be reactive but I’ve studied animal training and worked with him to the extent that he now can fine around other animals at my side in public. I will pet-sit with any animal because they all deserve patience and LOVE. Big or small! Please don’t hesitate to message me if you have any questions. I currently work from home on my laptop so I can bring my work with me, take your baby for a walk and hang out with them while I work just like I do with my own. I wanna make new best friends with each fur baby I meet ❤️ I do not wish to start out with animals at my own home but may extend that service in the future. Im willing to accustom to your home/pets needs and follow your instructions to the tee. If there’s a fenced in yard to play, great! If not a walk or ride to the park sounds even better! Whatever the owner is comfortable with. I like to have full conversations on the expectations and behavior of the animal so I understand what’s okay.

Amazing with our critters! We had only been moved from Florida for about a week and she jumped right in!
Charlene was amazing! This is our first time using Rover and we are very happy with the experience. Charlene was very communicative, timely with responses, friendly, followed all of our instructions, and gave our three dogs so much love. She provided wonderful updates, asked questions, and kept their routines going while we were away. She helped with medication administration for our old pup, hiking the young pup, and being very attentive to anything they needed. She left our home clean and well cared for, too! She checked in regarding her schedule- when she left and when the dogs were fed, and I know they had a great stay with her.
Charlene was an incredible sitter. She took care of my pup during a family emergency. I felt so comforted knowing Charlene was at my home. She took great care of everything and had wonderful communication. I would definitely use her again!
Charlene did such a great job with our dogs! She took them for walks every day and sent lots of pictures. She went above and beyond caring for our dogs and home and was a wonderful, respectful house guest as well. We were very nervous leaving our home and dogs with someone other than family for the first time but she put us at ease and clearly loves taking care of dogs.

Let me know if your dog has any reactions to anything that I should know about. Like to cats, dogs, kids , neighbors? Do they take any medication? Do they have allergies? Should we not go on walks at all because they are reactive and just stay home and play or are they more outgoing? Do you normally give them treats? Do you have a kong/lick pad I can set up for them before I leave? What do YOU do with them that you notice they love, is it fetch, going on walks, tug of war sessions, cuddling while watching TV? I wanna make your baby happy, while keeping them safe and healthy.
A typical day
It really depends on what your particular dog likes, I usually ask the you what they like to do and plan from there. Example one of my clients is obsessed with playing fetch so we play fetch until she seems to slow down/get tired and then we go for a cool down, on leash, walk in the neighborhood, and come back to some frozen peanut butter on a lick pad I prepared before we left to help her cool down. I like to go to a local park with animals that are behaved enough to, it depends on where you live. I like Zephyr Park. I want to leave your fur babies the happiest they can be, just like I would my own animals before I have to leave.
