Charlene is an incredible person to start. She arranged a meet and greet for Maikoh and I to meet her and Dora and instantly put me at ease. From the moment we arrived she was waiting outside to help me with Maikoh out the car and had a treat for him. We had some time for Maikoh to get to know Charlene, before she introduced him to Dora, which didn’t take long as he instantly fell in love with her. Dora and maikoh also hit it off straight away and by the end Maikoh didn’t want to leave when it was time for us to go home. She treat Maikoh like her own the entire time he stayed with her and provided updates of his meal times, cuddles, play time and bed time. Maikoh loves being outside and Charlene provided the most beautiful back yard and environment for him to run around, explore and feel safe. He always comes back to me so happy and also sleeps very well thanks to all the play time he gets. It’s truly a vacation for my boy every time he goes to Charlene’s. She has great communication and is both personable and professional. Would and have recommended her to other fur parents! Thanks again Charlene! You are the best!

My home is climate controlled, smoke-free and I use gates to help manage the environment so everyone has the space they may need to be comfortable. I also have a spare crate if your pet requires their own comfort zone. Unless there are specified preferences or requirements, your pet will be part of our home and family life for the duration of their stay!

A typical day

I am flexible based on your dog's needs and preferences. A typical day for Dora and I starts with an early morning walk followed by breakfast and some independent play time. Dora then settles down for some chew time and a rest when I leave for work. A potty break and a neighbourhood walk with Dad is next, then it's nap time until lunch. She will usually have a potty break around 10 then settle back down until lunch time. At lunch, Dora goes out for another potty break and some backyard time with Dad, then has lunch while Dad makes his lunch. Some backyard play, then it's time to settle back down for the afternoon. At 4, when I get home, Dora and I go either for a hike on the Bruce Trail, play ball, frisbee or just run around at Kerr Park or to the dog park at Fireman's Park for afternoon exercise. Then it's home for dinner and some chill (nap) time. After nap, we have a potty break, play time and a neighbourhood walk before turning in for the night.
