Pet care experience
I have loved animals since I was a little girl, and have always been drawn to take in strays and animals who need a home. Currently,I am in an apartment with only a tortoise, and I sure miss interacting with cats and dogs which I have previously owned continously. This makes me a win-win sitter for your precious pet as I get quality time with animals whch I have been missing out on, too. I have learned a small amount of dog training from owners whose dogs I have provided care for. I have also nursed my senior cat through old age and death at the old age of 21.

Charlene went above and beyond to help care for my girl! My dog is super sweet and lovable, but does have significant dog reactivity and aggression. Charlene came to meet her ahead of time to ensure she felt comfortable and it turned out to be a great match! She was a great communicator and sent the best pictures! I could tell my pooch was LOVING her visits!
Charlene took great care of our Lucy! Our pup doesn't get along with strangers. It takes time for her to warm up to people, but Charlene made friends with her instantly. I trust our dog's judge of character & truly believe Charlene is a blessing.
My Standard Poodle, Golden Doodle, Miniature Schnauzer and 2 cats just love Charlene! They are excited to see her when she comes and really enjoy playing and snuggling with her. Charlene tries to learn the family pet ‘rules’ and likes to practice commands with them and give them treats. The dogs listen to her and are excited for her attention. We’ve been glad to have her as a pet sitter when we went out of town and been satisfied with our pets being well taken care of.

My schedule will be variable around another job, so I may be best for short term jobs such as to cover vacations, etc. However, you may have a routine need that will fit well with my other job if our situations fit well together.
