Dogs are not just pets but family.

Pet care experience

Dogs have always played a big part in my life for over the past 10 years or so. My dogs are not just pets but they are apart of my family and deserve to be treated with a great amount of care, love and respect. Caring for dogs involves an incredible amount of patience, responsibility, trust and also a willingness to further inquire knowledge about dog care. I have come to learn and I am still learning how each dog has a unique set of personality traits based on their breed, age, and environment. I believe that it is crucial to consider when caring for dogs. The type of service that I am able to currently provide for your pets are walking, drop-ins and sitting.

Charity is a very responsible person. Since she was very young she has always had a connection with dogs and took full responsibility in grooming, bathing and helping train her dogs. She also takes the time to educate herself and familiarize herself with the latest training techniques. I have full confidence that Charity is a reliable person that can be trusted to take care of the needs of another person's dog.

I know Charity to be a caring, dependable person and a loving dog owner. Charity always provides the best of care for any pet she looks after. Her calm attitude puts both highly energetic dogs and anxious dogs at ease. I know that any dog in her care will be treated with affection and respect.

I believe it is very important to consider a dog's breed, age, size and personality especially when planning to take care of dogs. For example, they may be high energy and need to run around a lot in the backyard before going on a walk or they may have low energy and prefer a slow walk around the neighborhood. I have a huge heart for mixed breeds. Me and my family have always gotten mixed breeds from shelters who are in need of a home. There is room in my heart for both big and small dogs, I don't discriminate; however, sometimes I'm not strong enough to handle walking really large dogs who may pull from time to time, especially when there is a squirrel or cat on the loose. One thing I should mention, I’m not too comfortable working with dogs that exhibit aggressive behaviors.

A typical day

The location of walks I believe depends on the owner and dog's preferences. Some may prefer quiet neighborhood walks with very few distractions while others may prefer to go to parks where they can socialize with humans and other dogs. I enjoy playing fetch, frisbee, water play (during the hot summers), and jogging with dogs. Of course I try to adapt the play according to what the dog prefers.
