Pet care experience
I have owned dogs all my life, and have been heavily involved in their care and training for the last 12 years. I have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments, from puppies to elderly dogs. I currently own Ruby, a nine year old Catalan Sheepdog, that is wonderful company. She is still energetic enough to play with others but settles quietly in the house and will leave older dogs to themselves if they want a quieter day. I am an experienced trainer, so can assist with basic training using positive reinforcement. I love taking photos (some examples on my profile) and will do my best to take lovely photos of your dog whilst they're in my care. I can also offer some grooming help

With access to fields practically from my back gate, road walks and longer adventure just 15 minutes drive away, I have plenty of days to keep your dog entertained

Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements, whether they require a special diet, calm lifestyle/careful walks if they are elderly or have mobility issues or struggle with interacting with strange dogs or people. I will ensure that I accommodate these needs.
A typical day
A typical day with me involves waking up at 7am and being let into the garden to go to the toilet. Shortly followed by a walk in the nearby fields, park, around town or an adventure walk. Breakfast will be provided on return either in bowls, or game form such as forager balls or snuffle mats. Your dog will have be able to have some down time or continue to play depending on their energy levels. I love to walk in nature and places that allow dogs in my care to have a good sniff and relax in their surroundings, and a swim if they want to. Your dog will be cleaned and dried when they get back from a walk. The day will continue with the dog being allowed to choose how they spend their day. A short walk again before dinner, when they will relax with us in the living room before coming upstairs to bed.

Pet Care is part of my daily routine. I currently work part-time during the day so am available during the evenings/overnight for boarding, as well as mornings and evenings for walks and home visits.
