I have been constantly surrounded by animals such as dogs/cats/hamsters/fish/budgies which led me to complete my degree in Bioveterinary Science. I also completed a PhD which included trying to improve treatment outcomes for canine breast cancer and during my Ph.D, I babysat and walked fur babies that were less than 1 year old upto 8 years +. I have also completed K9 gold level dog obedience training that involved attending weekly training sessions for 5 years with my own dog, which meant I learned canine behaviour and training skills so am more than willing to help with dog training such as lead walking (even giving paws and high fives) where required.

Charlotte did an amazing job looking after our cats while we were out for Easter. Dropping in once a day and playing / socialising with the cats, as well as making sure they were fed and cared for. Chantelle was really great at communicating about how simba and coco were doing while we were away. We get lots of pictures and updates while away from home She did a great job teaching Simba some new skills and managed to interact and play with Coco which is a very shy cat . I was so pleased when I’ve seen through my camera how loving and patient Chantelle was with our cats We're definitely gonna book her again in the future.
I’ve been lucky enough to have Chantell take care of my two cats several times. She is a wonderful, caring, and considerate person. Both cats love her and she sends the best updates/photos. I worry about my pets a lot while I’m away and she really puts my mind at ease (especially with the picky eater/timid cat). Very grateful for Chantell!
Brilliant from start to finish. Put us at ease from the meet and greet, was great with Oakley even though he can be pretty energetic. Fantastic communication throughout, wouldn't hesitate to recommend, will definitely call on Chantell again!

Some dogs are much more wary of being walked with new people/having new people in their homes. Therefore, I am more than happy to do a meet and greet to help more nervous dogs. I am happy to provide updates through Rover but also just generic updates and photos as you wish, as I personally find it comforting to have a lot of updates when my pets are being babysat. If there are any triggers for your dogs such as other dogs or lorries etc. Let me know ahead of time so I can plan a walking route that would hopefully cause as little stress as possible. I am also part of St John Ambulance and therefore have a fully enhanced DBS check.

If your dog has any extra requirements such as medicines (topical or oral), or has any chronic medical conditions then just let me know ahead of time. Additionally, if there is any extra monitoring required such as the volume of water drank/food eaten etc, let me know.
A typical day
Can do road walks or trail walks, whichever is preferred by the dog (or owner). I am happy to take favourite toys for playing and treats for teaching tricks if you wish. For house sits or drop-ins I am happy to play with whatever toys are available for both cats and dogs.
