Compassionate. Dependable. Spunky.

Pet care experience

*** As of January 1, 2016 I have joined the Sit a Pet, Save a Life program through Rover. What does this mean? This means that any reservation for me booked through Rover.com will automatically donate 3% of my proceeds to the American Family Foundation Therapy Dog Program. By the end of 2019, I hope to increase my contribution to 5%. *** *** You can now visit me on Facebook by searching for Bark Buddies Canton. Additionally, when you LIKE or SHARE my page on Facebook, you'll earn $5 off your next stay. *** Hello, My name is Chantele Fox and I am delighted at the opportunity to provide you with a little information about myself, as well as my experience and background. I pride myself on providing compassionate, dependable, and quality pet care to you and your family. There is nothing more difficult and terrifying than determining who to leave your pets with while you are away. I am here to assist you in making that decision. I am a trustworthy, respectful, dependable, and compassionate individual. I take pride in reassuring pet owners that their pets will receive the up-most respect and care while they are away. With my past experiences in the field, I have the highest level of patience and capability of maintaining a professional image in any situation. As an owner of a 10-year-old Scottish Terrier named Watson, a 3-year-old standard Australian Shepard named Captain, and a 9-year-old mini Australian Shepard named Snickers, I know how difficult and serious the decision to leave them with someone other than yourself can be. The three of them mean the world to me and I am fortunate enough to have help from family and close friends caring for them when I am not around. However, for you this might not be the case. To help aid you in your decision process, allow me to provide a little more detail about myself to help decide if I am a good fit for you and your family. As a child, I grew up with grandparents who not only were professional dog handlers, but also dog show judges, which for me meant becoming familiar with caring and identifying various breeds of dogs at a young age. It was during this period, that I discovered my compassion and enjoyment being around not only animals, but more specifically dogs. Continuing on into becoming an adult, I found myself constantly rehabilitating and re-homing many species of animals from rescuing hamsters, gerbils, and mice to helping to nurse baby raccoons back to health. I have served as a foster mom to many dogs, helped in the raising of litters of golden retriever puppies for therapy dog organizations, and was in a management position for a canine daycare and boarding facility. I have experience with dogs of every breed and size, and I am also very comfortable assisting those dogs who may require special accommodations. I have cared for puppies up to those special elderly oldies who have various impairments. My job is not only to provide you with a sense of security and the knowing that your babies are being well cared for, but that the dogs are feeling a sense of safety and comfortability with myself. I have cared for reptiles, cats, dogs, birds, fish, rodents, etc... if you have more than just a dog that needs caring for, I would love to care for them as well. I am canine first aid/CPR certified, I am experienced with administering medications (orally and intranasal), have experience caring for dogs with various health conditions, and can properly and professionally care for your furry loved ones. When you book a reservation with me through Rover your pet will receive the Rover Insurance and Protection Package, complete with availability for 24 hour vet assistance. Furthermore, I will provide you with texts, videos, and pictures throughout the duration of your stay. Additionally, at the end of each night, I will provide you with an end of the night summary of how your pet's day has been. I will also provide at your meet and greet, an official business card complete with various methods of communication- all of which will be made available 24/7 during your reservation and daily check-in notifications. MY AVAILABILITY: *** Please Note: The Rover calendar is not always as accurate as my current schedule. However, my current availability is listed below. Although my schedule appears very back-to-back, I am able to leave during the day for potty breaks. My dogs love Chantele and I like that she always keeps me posted on how they are doing. I have a senior Pug, and he is not easy to take care of, but Chantele is very patient and kind with him. My cats hate everyone, but have decided to spend all their time with Chantele, she has the magic touch !

Chantele was great with our super nervous dog that can be tough to work with. She kept us updated and did what she could to make her comfortable. She was extremely patient and made sure our pup was well taken care of. Our cats were comfortable as well. I highly recommend Chantele. She has a lot of dog experience/knowledge and you can be at ease knowing that your fur babies are in good hands. We will definitely use her services again in the future.

Chantele was great with our older dog. She kept us updated and gave him all his medications. The weather and roads were super bad but she was at our house everyday and sent updates as well. Will definately use her for future sitting.

Upon contacting me, please provide any and as much detail concerning your dog/dogs that you feel is most necessary. The more details about your children, the easier it will be for me to assess the best possible care plan for them. These details may include specific meal procedures, any medications they may require, if they will need to be taken to any vet or grooming appointments, and also if they require any specials needs (playing music during thunderstorms, if they are scared of any sounds or people, etc.). I am not only there to ensure they receive the best possible care while you are away, but to also ensure they feel safe and secure and that I will meet any needs they require.

I am very flexible with regards to my cancellation policy ***Please call with at least a 2 hour grace period from my time of arrival*** I may also be available for special schedules upon request. My personal dog-sitting style is catered and planned to accommodate the needs of each individual dog within the comfort of their own homes. This is to ensure that they remain with a feeling of security while myself and your dog become familiarized with one another. I also chose to provide service within the home in order to ensure the safety of those dogs who may require special needs including the administration of medications and special feeding schedules. I would also like that you as the mothers and fathers of these fur-babies, feel comfortable leaving them in my care for whatever the duration may be. I believe in allowing you babies the luxury of walking about the house and yards as much as they feel necessary. I believe in engaging in as much one-on-one cuddle time as much as possible. If there are any special accommodations that your fur-children may need, please do not hesitate to let me know. I am here to care for you children so to speak while you are away. Whether that is providing them with simple cuddles and petting sessions or simply providing them with specific feeding details- I am here to ensure the safety and comfort while you are away..
