Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs all my life. I currently have a beautiful 9 pound Shichon Bichon/Shih Tzu mix. She maybe small but she’s mighty lol. I am a very responsible, thorough, dependable, and passionate person. I can assure you that your pet will be in good hands with me and I will always have your pet’s safety and well-being as my first priority. I enjoy spending time with dogs/cats whether it be walking them or playing with them, or just simply hanging out with them. They put a smile on my face everyday. I frankly have a hard time understanding how some people are not animal lovers! I have worked for the Toronto Police Service for 32 years and have RECENTLY RETIRED allowing me to have even more time availability to spend with my furry friends!

We were going away on vacation for 3 weeks and I heard about Rover - connected with Chantel and set up a quick meeting to discuss what was required and where she could find things. Chantel messaged us every day with Naya’s report and we were happy to see that they had bonded well! There was not one minute I didn’t fell comfortable about Chantel’s visits. We will definitely call you again! Thanks so much for looking after our fur baby 🐾

Chantal is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and gentle. We’ve had her look after our senior cat who requires medication morning and night, twice for about a week each time and we could not be more pleased. She gives us the peace of mind we need to be able to enjoy our time away. As a veterinarian with no kids, there are no limits for what I will do for my pers and Chantal fits in perfectly!

I will make sure to be on time so as not to keep your furry friend waiting. I will feed them, give any medications required, clean out the litter box, replenish water and of course, play with them and cuddle if they want!

Any special needs your dog may require like medication. If the dog prefers walks or runs at a leash free park or both. Does the dog need to be crated after their walk.
A typical day
I will take the dog on walks throughout the neighborhood and to a leash free dog park if that’s what the owner wishes. If the dog enjoys retrieving balls or frizbees, I will do that too. Whatever the owner tells me that the dog enjoys, I will gladly fulfill that request.

I have a small dog myself, so pet care is a natural thing for me and part of my daily routine. Pet care has been part of my life for many, many years and will always be a part of my life as I love animals so much!
