As every doggie parent knows--these are our babies and we want the best care for them. I also live on a farm with 26 chickens, 25 guineas, three geese, a pig and two dogs, so it is /was difficult for me to get away for any length of time. When I found out Chantal was doing pet sitting, it was a perfect fit! She stayed on the property, so she was a visible presence while I was gone. I have a special needs dog that needs medication twice daily, and with Chantal being a vet tech, she knew what to do and followed instructions to a T. When I'm out of town, she sends me pictures in the morning and evening and helps ease the worries of being away.
