Pet care experience
I am a biologist and aquarist and have worked in husbandry (animal care) for 15 years. I have coordinated and participated in wildlife rescue, rehab, and release programs. I love all animals, especially dogs and sea turtles! I have a really sweet rescue dog named Ziggy. We like to hike in the marsh, play soccer at the park AND be lazy on the porch! I work on Tybee and am available on the island throughout the day. I live downtown and am available during the evenings. I am respectful and will treat your pet and home as if they were my own. Chantal is a wonderful, caring, and honest person. She has watched our three dogs on multiple occasions for both day trips and several overnight stays. Chantal has always put my mind at ease with updates and photos of our fur babies. I would recommend her to anyone that needs someone to care for their pets while they are away from home.
Chantal is a great human being and one of the most loving people I’ve ever met. This character has easily crossed over to the animal kingdom as well. She works with animals of all kinds on a daily basis which makes her knowledgeable about the energy required to properly care for them. Because of these qualities, my family regularly entrusts her with the care of our 3 dogs when we need to go out of town. She does a great job and always seems excited to help when she gets the opportunity to do so because she just loves animals! Our pups seem to love her too!
Chantal is a shinining star!! She has cared for our dog Pickles more times than I can remember. She is his absolute favorite human, other than us of course :) Chantal has cared for Pickles for as little as overnight and as long as 2 weeks! She took him in as if he was her own. She is very loving and energetic. I cannot think of anyone I would rather watch my dog! If Pickles could write a review I’m sure he would give 4 paws up!!
