Pet care experience
A life long ambassador for all misunderstood dogs, and have a large pack of my own, all of which are rescues, my furbabies range from 9 months - 9 years old. I rescue, foster, and volunteer throughout my community and across NC. Learning about dog training, nutrition, and have basic first aid knowledge, as well as medication and administering shots. I can also take to vet or grooming appointments. I try to stay fairly active, doggie parks, doggie play dates, and bike rides (when the weather permits). I haven't met a dog yet that doesn't enjoy a little wind on the face during a car ride. All in all, I'm a dog lover and caring for your pet as I would my own, is who I am. I was a first time Rover user and I was more than a little nervous. Chanon put my mind at ease. She sent me a text every day as I requested and sent me some great pictures. I plan on using Chanon in the future.
I cannot say enough great things about Chanon!! First of all we have two crazy, big dogs with several high maintenance issues. Before we went out of town she spent time with both of them making sure everyone was comfortable and getting to know our one dog with stranger issues. While we were gone she updated us frequently with pics and stories, and we were blown away to come home to a clean house with two very happy dogs. She went the extra extra mile and helped us with keeping the dogs out of the garden and even working on our garden herself! She left the space she stayed in cleaner and more organized than we had left it. The most important thing though is our higher maintenance dog (a rescue pittie) and her bonded so beautifully and it really was great knowing we had a trustworthy person with our dogs. I’ve never had such an excellent pet sitter before and we will definitely be using her again and on a frequent basis!
Chanon has been very patient with our dog with stranger anxiety! We really appreciate her thoroughness and her good communication. Would definitely recommend!
Chanon helped us with our pittie last minute notice and really came through for us! Well documented visits and gave us lots of info on each trip. Would definitely recommend to someone in need of help.

Do they enjoy car rides? If older, do they enjoy walks? Leash trained? Commands? Dog friendly? Kid friendly? Any special diet? Allergies? Special needs? What are stressors for your pet? How about thunderstorms, and what do you do to help calm your pet? Any behaviors you would like to see change? Is your dog a snuggle bug, timid, shy, mouthy, nippy, anxious or a talker? Any quirks? How about things they do that might freak or worry the average person, but it's just who they are. I love ALL dogs, with aq very special place in my heart for all bully breeds ♡ Truly the goofiest, loyal, bed stealing, cuddle bugs that are undeniably loving and affectionate lap dogs - Yet, sadly they are still the most misunderstood dog breed.
