Your fur baby becomes my fur baby
Pet care experience
I work as a vet assistant/ technician at a regular veterinary hospital and I work at an orthopedic rehabilitation center for geriatric and working dogs. I am with dogs and cats most of my days every week and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I am currently in school to become a licensed veterinary technician and I am able to apply learning about animal behaviors, stressors etc to my career. I have been pet sitting off and on for about 2 years now and I love when I’m able to help someone take care of their fur babies, knowing that their pet is comfortable and safe and being cared for in the comforts of their own home weather their geriatric, adult or young pets.

Chanelle is a wonderful sitter for my two cats. Even my shy female will come out from hiding to spend time with her. Chanelle’s love and passion for animals is very evident from the first day you meet her. I especially love how she she sends me a video update each day I’m away. She’s my pet sitter for life!
Chanelle is wonderful. She loves dogs. Our dog Lady is older and blind. Chanelle watched over her with great care. Lady requires lots of love and extra attention because she is blind. Chanelle did everything possible to make her happy. When we returned home from vacation, Lady was not stressed as some dogs can be. I would recommend Chanelle highly. There is no one better to entrust your beloved pet. She is kind, honest and responsible and treats all dogs like family. She will check in with you and give you updates. She even sent me pictures!! You can use Chanelle with all confidence! I cannot recommend her highly enough. You will never be disappointed and neither will your pet. If you want someone with love, compassion, honesty, energy and a zeal for her job....request Chanelle.
Chanelle has much experience as being a dog caregiver not only by being responsible for her former dog, Cody, but also taking care of the dogs in her religious organization. She's also in school to be a licensed veterinary technician. She has many experiences in working in animal hospitals as well as in veterinary sports medicine. She wants to further her career one day as a veterinarian. Hopefully Rover.com would be able to give her enough experience that she'll be able to take advantage of in the future. She's bright and she's able to get the work done when needed. I am 100% sure you can depend on her. Chanelle has a genuine love for animals, they are what strives her to make a difference each day. She's organized, she's patient, she's experienced, she's consistent and most importantly she's trustworthy.
I was beyond pleased with Chanelle’s services. She provided with daily updates on my cat and made sure to abide by all my requests. When I came back from vacation everything in my home was in pristine shape. My cat is completely standoffish to strangers but after a few days she was completely comfortable with Chanelle. I appreciated her educating me on cat behaviors, being that she is training to be a Veterinary Technician. I plan on using her services long term! I’d recommend her services to any that need a pet sitter!

Safety, trust & environment
I try to make them as comfortable as possible but I would prefer them staying at home. They feel more secure in a space they’re familiar with.
Information Chanelle L. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences but I would need to know aggression or fear levels. Can I touch their head or their paws? How to approach them? Anything that would set them off or make them uncomfortable. Do they need any medication, injections?
A typical day
I’ll try to keep the pet in the same routine as possible, weather it’s long leash walks, hiking, playing ball etc. If it’s a cat, always keeping them entertained with their favorite toy, even if it’s just a rubberband or paper ball. The goal is to play with them until they’re tired so they can have an awesome sleep at night.

I do work during the day so I can only take your pet out before work, after work and before bedtime. However, when k am home with them, they will have all my attention.
