Pet care experience
I've had dogs pretty much all of my life and have cared for many different breeds. When I was younger one of our dogs did have 3 litters of puppies and I helped care for them. I currently do not own any dogs in DC due to living situations but I do have 3 dogs that I help care for when I visit my parents in Atlanta. We currently have 2 malteses( a mother and son) and a Black Russian Terrier Puppy. I have experience caring for malteses, akitas, chow chows, poodles and cocker spaniels but I am always open to interacting with new breeds. I did have 1 maltese that was very ill which resulted in him having seizures. This gave me experience administrating oral medications in both the pill and liquid form. I have many years of experience caring for my own dogs and watching my friends dogs. I also spent the last year as a Wag Walker.
Reviews
Chanel has always had a soft spot when it comes to dogs. She has cared for varying breeds including an Akita and several Maltese. Most recently, she has cared for a Black Russian Terrier puppy recently imported from Russia. She has also cared for pets with serious illnesses which caused blindness and seizures. She was able to administer the daily medicine the dog needed to control his seizures and communicate how he did on a daily basis. I would trust any pet I have with her. She is responsible and very responsive when it comes to the needs of your pet.
I have known Chanel a little over 3 years, she is an extremely caring and dedicated person. She is very trustworthy and has an extensive background caring for animals, specifically dogs. Always brings a smile and will take great care of your fur baby!
