I am a nurse but I love animals more ;) I volunteered as a dog runner for the Seattle Humane Society for several years, where I provided exercise, mental stimulation, training and socialization to dogs available for adoption. (I stopped because I moved away). I don’t have any pets due to my frequent travels but I will take my friend’s dogs to go hiking whenever I can. I also volunteered for 3 months at a dog refuge called Care For Dogs in Chiang Mai, Thailand when I was studying abroad for nursing school. It was primarily socialization and taking the dogs out on walks. I am an active person and enjoy being outside, rain or shine! I have a nurse’s schedule so I am free many weekdays. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood with easy access to the park and the beach. I would like to do Meet & Greets before taking care of your dog. I just want to hang out and love on these furry friends :) I believe that humans have a responsibility to respect and care for the other creatures that share this beautiful planet.
