House, Fenced Yard, and Two Sitters

Pet care experience

*Please read carefully for your information.* - Dog Walking: for a half hour (or an hour) in your neighborhood Drop-In Visits: for a half hour (or an hour) in your home House Sitting: for more than an hour in your home Day Care: for the day in your sitter's home Boarding: for the night in your sitter’s home - Hello! My name is Chandupa. Avi and I have years of experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits. I have personal experience taking care of two rabbits and two cats. Avi has personal experience training puppies and caring for one elderly pet, his family's late dog, Tyke. Tyke was a sweet, but mischievous black lab mix whose strict diet, regular exercise, and overflowing love from family and friends enabled him to enjoy a long, happy life until his peaceful passing in 2018. Rover is a way for us to welcome a flurry of furry friends back into our lives. - *Pet Philosophy* 1) Safe: Our primary concern is to make sure that your pet is safe and sound. 2) Responsible: I try to be punctual and take the pet care responsibilities that I am entrusted with very seriously, including giving food on time, frequent bathroom breaks, etc. 3) Accountable: We intend to take care of your pet as we would our own, but if we human creatures make any mistakes, we will try to be upfront, honest, and transparent about it. 4) Responsive: I am committed to maintaining constant communication with you, providing regular updates (via messages and pictures) as often as needed for your own peace of mind. 5) Patient: Avi has a gentle but firm way of handling even the naughtiest of critters! He has experience with teething puppies and breaking up dogfights by canine rivals who later became friends. 6) Loving: Beyond spoiling your baby with treats, attention, and cuddles, we hope the care, affection, and fun that your pet has with us leaves them feeling content!

Chandupa an Avi took care of Coco while I was on a two week vacation. I felt so comfortable leaving Coco here rather than keeping her in boarding. She felt like home and looked after so well. was getting constant pictures from them so I felt connected while I was away. She slept with them their room like a family member. I appreciate all the efforts they did to make coco comfortable and loved

We had a wonderful experience with Chandupa and Avi while they cared for our dog Bingo. Their regular updates provided us with peace of mind during our time away, ensuring us that Bingo was not only safe but also happy. Despite an unexpected delay causing us to arrive late, they were incredibly understanding and accommodating, allowing us to pick up Bingo without any hassle. Their kindness and exceptional service truly made a difference. We’re grateful to have found such reliable pet sitters.

Safety, trust & environment

- *Environment* The house and yard are relatively pet-friendly. The house is self-monitored and protected by Ring alarm security system (camera, sensors, and motion detector). The backyard is newly-fenced and beautifully-landscaped. With more or less complete and full-time access to all three floors of the whole house and the entire backyard, there is plenty of space both inside and outside the house for your furbaby to rest and roam. We also rent out the backyard for private play for pets and their owners on the "SniffSpot" website/app (ask for our link if you're interested). - *Pre-Booking* 1) Please feel free to sign up for a meet and greet to see if we would be a good fit for each other with no obligation to commit! 2) We accept bookings for dog walks, drop-ins, and housesitting within a 2-mile radius range. Outside of this range, I charge an additional $0.50 per extra mile. 3) I re-adjust the prices for all of our services at the start of each month using ChatGPT and the Rover data that I have available to me to determine the fairest price for each of our services. 4) I prefer to keep all of our transactions on the Rover platform because the Rover Support team can provide third-party assistance in case there are any issues. - *Post-Booking* 1) Same-day cancellation policy: full refund if the booking is canceled before service. 2) Please send us a picture/list of all of your pet's belongings before the start of the stay. This will help ensure that all items are returned to you at the end of the stay! 3) If you book a longer stay, you may wish to consider leaving your pet with us for an hour at a time (for $10 per hour) as many times as needed to get comfortable, especially if your pet has significant separation anxiety. The benefit of a one-hour drop-off is that it helps get your pet accustomed to being picked up very soon after being dropped off in an unfamiliar location and reduces feelings of abandonment. You can also book a one-day daycare or one-night boarding for the same purpose. 4) Please consider supporting our friendly neighbor's dream to become a professional dog bather/groomer! Service Includes: a) shampoo b) conditioner c) blow dry d) brushing e) ear cleaning f) perfume/cologne Rates by Weight: 0-15 lbs: $30 16-30 lbs: $40 31-50 lbs: $50 51-75 lbs: $60 76-100 lbs: $70 101+ lbs: $80+ They can also travel to your place for an additional charge based on the distance. 5) Please consider leaving us ratings and reviews on Rover!

Information Chandupa & Avi A. would like to know about your pet

I really like clear, detailed written instructions for me to reference on my own, so please feel free to share a "cheat sheet" on how to best take care of your pet(s)! Feel free to convey all of your expectations and wishes to us upfront to ensure your own peace of mind for the duration of your pet's stay with us: 1) When, what, how much, and how often should we feed your pet? Does your pet have any allergies or dietary restrictions/preferences? 2) How does your pet indicate that they need to go out for a potty break? We generally understand when adult pets have accidents in the house during the first 24-48 hours they stay over due to nervousness and unfamiliarity with the environment. However, if they continue to have accidents even after 48 hours, we will inform you and modify the booking so that you will be charged the "puppy rate" for the rest of the stay. On Rover, the puppy rate is for pets who "require a [higher] level of care." 3) Does your pet run away? Or do they tend to stay in/return to the house? 4) Does your pet need to go on walks or can they tire themselves out playing in the backyard? 5) Where does your pet generally prefer to sleep? 6) Does your pet get along with other humans/dogs/cats? 7) Does your pet have any special needs, unusual preferences, or unique quirks? For example, do they dislike or like to be petted or picked up in a certain way? 8) How frequently do you want me to update you with photos/videos of your pet? If you have any other requests to make sure that your pet is safe and comfortable, please let us know.

A typical day

The specifics of how each day goes will likely depend on the personality and preferences of each pet. A bare minimum schedule of a typical day would look like: Morning: ~ Wake up ~ Potty break in the fenced yard ~ Breakfast Afternoon: ~ Play, cuddle, etc. ~ Potty break in the fenced yard ~ Rest Evening: ~ Dinner ~ Potty break in the fenced yard ~ Sleep Your pet will likely spend most of their time close to us unless they prefer otherwise.
