I have grown up with dogs in my family my entire life, from Pomeranians to a house of Bulldogs; my family was known to take in any dog a family couldn't have or handle anymore for any reason. I began dog sitting for friends families in college when they would go out of town. I gained trust with my clients through this and also was able to give the dogs a much better experience than being boarded up. I have now had my rescue for over a year and I think she'd agree she lives a pretty care free life with endless treats, toys and cuddles. I recently moved to Tampa Bay after graduating college. I work during the evenings (flexible at the moment) and I have the days off to spend with my dog and apply for positions in the area. With my schedule I believe I am a perfect fit for day time doggy care as well as dog boarding given my boyfriend (who is a dog whisperer... seriously I thought I was good) has the evenings off after he is done brewing beer for the day at BrewHub. We are a dream team! I live in a lovely home that offers a medium sized fenced in back yard great for dogs to run around and plenty of space to go potty. Our other roommate is my Pitbull Peaches - she is a one of a kind pup. I have found she is one of those dogs that has a gift and an ability to make any dog feel safe and comfortable and how to truly "dog". We have witnessed this over and over again with her.. the owners that are afraid their dog is too much or too scared or too aggressive.. Peaches can handle it all. Owners have thanked Eric and I for allowing our dog to play with theirs saying "They've never been this good with another dog before". She has special powers.. maybe she tells them about how many treats they get if they're good?
