I have had the privaledge of caring for three dogs in my life. The first was Chocolate, a chocolate lab who chose my family at the age of 6. The next is Charlie, a spunky yellow lab that my parents adopted when he was just a small pup (one could argue that he was never small 🤣). And the third, Nova. The sweetest blue heeler/lab mix you will ever meet. He came as a packaged deal with my partner and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I was very active in the raising and training of Charles, making sure to be firm and consistent when it came to training. It was also important to have fun and form an emotional bond with him. Nova is a very intelligent dog. He is well trained but picks up on bad habits. He has taught me to stay vigilant and consistent. Always gotta keep one eye open around him! I love being around dogs; playing, petting, walking, and just relaxing. It is hard to be a dog owner while working or going to school (or both) and I would love to be able to help in any way I can!
