I grew up with a Pomeranian named Rudy who was in most of my childhood. Since then my sister has had an Alaskan Malamute named Oona and a Golden Retriever named Hemingway who I have loved to watch and spend time with. My brother has a Mini Aussie Healer named Sage and his wife has the same named Sadie whom I have watched on multiple occasions this past summer while they were away on date nights or trips home. I’ve done door to door sales this past summer and walk around 10 miles a day so walking your dog(s) won’t be a problem for me.

The biggest thing I can think of is making sure they are comfortable with me there and the environment they are situated in too. If I'm having them over for the weekend, I would make sure they had what they need, toys, and plenty of space for their freedom to roam and be comfortable.

I think other than a name and levels of comfort, knowing what they enjoy is important. I'm clearly going to be there for them for that time and want to make it as enjoyable as possible. Knowing how they behave with other dogs and strangers is important too.
A typical day
I would enjoy casual walks or even runs around Rexburg. I'm a runner and enjoy a good distance. Depending on if they like to fetch, that would be a blast. Sage who I've watched loved frisbee.

I work on campus at BYU-I and usually work evenings which would allow me a good amount of time to set aside for care and proper attention.
