Animal lovin' social worker

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs! Throughout my adolescence, I held responsibility of being a primary caretaker and trainer for the family shih tzus, learning from professional trainers alongside my dad. I have experience pet sitting for family and friends, and really just love being among animals. As a crisis clinician, I am trained to be observant and track behavior patterns - these skills extend to pets! I previously worked for Mud Bay Pet Supply, learning about pet nutrition, training techniques, and how to properly build rapport with animals. Our pets are our family and have magical qualities to them. I one day hope to adopt a dog of my own to train as a therapy animal, as animals truly are healing and beneficial to the therapeutic experience.

Chandler did an amazing job watching after my cat and doing some housesitting while I was out of town! It was the first time I used a sitter and I was so nervous but she was reassuring and sweet the whole time. She was communicative and sent lots of pictures of her getting along with my little guy. I can’t recommend her enough. She will take care of your fur baby as if it is her own!

Chandler served as an exceptional pet sitter for our dog Cleo during our week-long absence. Demonstrating outstanding care for our elderly canine, Chandler excelled in communication, offering us daily updates accompanied by photographs. It was clear that Cleo, despite her initial apprehensiveness, quickly grew fond of Chandler. She provided Cleo with neighborhood strolls, trips to her beloved pet store for treats, and ample cuddle time. Upon our return, it was evident Cleo missed Chandler, as she searched for her around the house.

Chandler was so thoughtful, attentive, and communicative when house-sitting for our three cats. We really appreciated her sending pictures while we were away and leaving our home in great condition. We are already planning to re-book. Highly recommend!

Information Chandler C. would like to know about your pet

How does you pet respond to change? What is their favorite toy? Do they have a specific routine when going to the park that I should know about? How many treats are they allotted per day? How can I ensure they are comfortable while you’re away?

A typical day

This is completely dependent on what the pets’ typical schedule and needs look like! For animals who love park adventures - I will ensure their park needs are met! For animals that prefer staying indoors- I’ll make sure we have plenty of snuggle & play time. I will make sure our time together fits their needs and typical schedule!
